A resurrected painting ‘Le déjeuner sur l’ herbe’, courtly gallantry, pipe hats and silver decorated walking sticks. The Vrijbroekparkpark at Mechelen, with its beautiful rose garden, was the ideal scene for a Victorian Rose Walk. Catapulted back in time: costumes, etiquette and civil manners of the ‘Fin de Siècle’. Studio Belle Epoque was responsible for the organization of this first Victorian walk. A beautiful day with around seventy participants in beautiful historic costumes.
